hey every one i am 16 i drive a 1993 honda del sol and am completly redoing the sound system in the car with a all sony xplod system i have a Sony CDX-F5510 head unit, i am ordering a SONY XM-DS1600P5 1600W MONO amp, i have 2 sony xs-l122p5 12" subs "Brand New" and 6.5s all around.
the subs only cost 117 dollers and the amp is only goin to be 130-150 dollers and i was wondering if it was a good set up running the subs bridged at 2 ohms on the amp because i am new to sound systems as the last system i had i found the speakers in the dumpster funny thing is they worked for 3 months perfectly but whatever also what is the rms wattage for those subs

It depends on whether the amp is best at 2 ohms. Wire it to where you get the most out of the amp. If you haven't bought the amp yet, take that into consideration.

Yeah, if you can possibly wire the subs to 1 ohm and the amp can take it, then do that. It's a shame you can't get specs.
