Hey guys, I just ordered some new speakers. I'm planning out their installation, and I'm wondering if the stock speaker wires and harnesses in my civic are fine, or if I should replace them with better speaker wires. My question mainly stems from my concerns that with an amp(which I plan on getting later), the stock wires will be too crappy for the new power. Or maybe I'm being paranoid. Thanks for the help.
that is a different application...with stock speakers, the speaker wire is ran from the headunit to your speakers...with an amplifier, your speaker wire is run from the amp to your speakers...It is not necessary to replace the wire without an amplifier. Not worth the effort in my opinion.
