Bronze Member Username: Iowahawks19Post Number: 89 Registered: Jun-05 | yea thats what i was thinking too but it says 500wrms at 12.2 v and 800w at 14.4... so would the kicker 600.1 be better btw it'll be pushing 2 12" cvr, im makin a budget system so the amp has to be about 200$ |

Bronze Member Username: Riebread77Post Number: 51 Registered: Jun-05 | I have a Rockford Fosgate Power 1501bd for sale. I used it to power two 12" Kicker L7's and it slammed. I used it for only 3 months, then I sold my car and has been sitting around for awhile. its rated at 1650+ watts @ 2 ohms. I bought the amp for $575. It can be yours for $325 shipped (US). Email me at riebread77@aol.com if your interested. |

Bronze Member Username: Iowahawks19Post Number: 98 Registered: Jun-05 | i'll pass on that rockford ryan simpaly because im making a budget system, thanks for the offer tho, are you sure that mtx will do the job?? does it really matter THAT much which amp i choose out of these three(should i simpaly go for which is cheaper)out of these- mtx801d audiobahna800t kicker kx600.1 |
Silver Member Username: Dominirica012Charlotte, North Carolina US Post Number: 107 Registered: May-05 | all 3 amps are good so i dont think it matters although the mtx will probably sound a little better |
Bronze Member Username: DarkseidPost Number: 80 Registered: Feb-05 | its not gonna make a huge difference esp. in subwoofers. Those small differences in wattages are barely audible. The mtx will not have a problem pushing your setup. Remember it doesn't necessarily take the full rms of your speakers to reach there full potential, depending on your enclosure of course. |
Silver Member Username: Iowahawks19Post Number: 105 Registered: Jun-05 | ok thanks guys... i'll just go for the one i can get the best deal on, haha im going for a really good budget system, goal is under 350$, but i think it's too low btw they'll most likely be in a sealed enclosure |
