Hey guys i have a pioneer DEH 6500 and i have an xm unit connected to it already, i want to connect my ipod to it as well and i was wondering what kind of equipment i would need to be able to connect both of these devices

You need to use the Ipod controller. Good thing you have a pioneer. Its the only deck that you can hook up xm and ipod from the back of it.
