It's most likely the wiring. Have you checked all of the fuses including those located in the fuse panel?
If you already know the unit is dead, then disregard that last paragraph...it shouldn't be difficult to repair, I would suggest getting an estimate on how much it would cost as many things could be causing the unit to not get power.
