Ive never heard a 9500 in a sealed box so I cant really say how that would sound, but in a ported box you can hear the air moving though the port more than the bass itself. Nice amp choice though. You must be rich or something. |

Point is, sq is pretty nice and the spl is way better than average. BTW, mine are only 10" woofers. |

I went ahead and got the sledgehammer and yeah the air noise is fairly loud when it gets moving but I have my port facing upwards until i get sound deadening because the rattling of my trunk hatch is horrendous and started loosening up. SQ sounds good to me and I have already gotten compliments from guys with diamonds and fosgates of the same caliber. ID go with sealed enclosure personally though but it all depends on what youre looking for. Also if you want spl go with the 12s. The 10s in my opinion punch harder than vibrate |
