Hi, I'm new to this site and looking for help. I have a Sony Active black panel head unit. bought it 6 monthes ago from Circuit City. Just the other day I was listening to it and all of a sudden no sound. It was playing at a normal level and it just quite. The face plate shows everything is normal, have power and volume is mid may. When you turn the car on you can hear a slight noise for 2 seconds come out of the speakers. Can anyone help? Should I send it back to Sony and wait who knows how long. thanks for any help.

Try reset the head unit, if that doesn't work your outputs probably went bad. My clarion did the same thing. Do you always have no sound or just part of the time?
Hi Kyle, thanks for responding. The sound is out completetly 100%. I will try and reset, the manual should indicate how (I hope). It's just very strange that it cut out. Thanks
