I have a 2001 Volkswagon Jetta and i need to know how to hook an amplifier to the factory head unit, but the rear speakers are in the doors and idk how to wire the line level converter or w/e up to them since they are not behind the back seat and and would i need a REM wire and where would i hook it up to if i do??
you will need a rem wire just hook it to any 12 volt current like you cigarette lighter that turns on when u turn your car on. It would be in your best interest to just get an aftermarket head unit now thier not that expensive and you will end up getting one anyway most likely.

how would i wire up a line level converter so i could get a signal to the amp with out havin to buy an aftermarket cd player....
