Whats the best head unit i can get for 200-300 dollars and from where? I need it to run a mono amp for my subwoofer toherwise im open for suggestions.

I'd recommend an Alpine, they're cheaper than Eclipse, and still retain good quality.

I'd go with the older model, they've been having problems with their new ones.
