How good is a Kenwood HU?

Basic question... I am looking at the one that is 22rmsX4 and 3, 4 volt preout's that cost's about 250$. How good of a HU is this and how does Kenwood compare to other CD players? Thanks!

It's good but recently they have been having some reliability issues...Make sure you check out Alpine, Pioneer, Eclipse, and Clarion before buying the Kenwood.

Ok, now you're only referring to the 9835 and the 9855 which are way out of Chris' price range. Honestly.

I was talking about you said check Alpines. Anuwaus Chris the KDC-MP628 is the one your talking about is a nice deck. The only difference between that one and 728 is a graphic motion analyzer.

Alpine, IMHO is second best next to Eclipse. I just love Alpine for they're design. I know they've been having problems with the newer ones, but hey, no ones perfect.

I have a kenwood and it actually works pretty good, I've only had for about 6 months so I'm not to sure about the reliability but it sounds decent.

Kenwoods arent always 100% accurate with their numbers (wattage wise)
