i need an amp for my atlas 12" (250-300w rms). i have these choices, but im tryin to stay away from the first because of price (unless is )deffinitely worth it) 1. jl audio 250/1 2. orion 600D phoenix gold class d amp

I'd go with a Hifonics BX605 and run it at 2 ohms personally. But within those choices I'd go with the JL 250/1. Orion and Pheonix Gold are very good brands, but I've only used some of their older amps, so I'm not sure how good their new amps are...
