Best sub for arround $300

I need to find a sub for arround $300 with alot of SPL as well sq. I was looking at getting an 18" Avalanche. Would this be the best for that price? Its going into a Navigator.

that would do you great..... i dont really think there is a better SQL sub for 300... although a 12 IDMAX i think can be had for 320.... they dont make them bigger than 12 though.

i would suggest a PPI 1000w amp... its more though sorry... 360 ebay

im not sure... 300 is a low budget to power a avalanche.... look into hifonics amps... they are cheap

i wouldnt put 1430w to a avalanche in my opinion but try a 1000 watt hifonics... i dont know which model.

You could get the 1000D or just match the ohms up with the 1500D to get the 1000 watts, either will work.

Im probably gonna use a Hifonics BX1000D. So arround 1000 or like 950.

probably between 5-7 ... im just giving you an estimate so you have an idea... let some1 more experienced give you better advice.

Thanks. I'm also getting a 15" Ava for a different car. Would the same amp be good for it too? Also whats a good ported volumme for it?

the 18 and 15 have the same nominal power rating... as for box size.... i was told to make a ported box about 4 cuft tuned to 24hz for mine... but now i might be trying an ABC box

yes the abc im heling design, i had to correct somen, but its gonig to be kick a$$ sean is doing a great job on that

yeah ABC boxes are quite a project.... i dont understand the tuning though... is the tuning the same per chamber or does it differ because of the ports connecting the chambers?

lmme reprase that.. is it the same as if it were a reg ported box per chamber... i know that each chamber would have its own tune which would be different
