I had a guy build a sub box for me a couple weeks ago using specs I gave him. Anyway, just out of curiosity, I would like to see what frequency the box is tuned to and whether or not it is the same as I specified. Does anyone know how to determine the tuning freq. without removing the sub from the box and taking actual, internal measurements? Thanks very much.
Hey Donald, the box is a slot port design and I don't know what the actual length of the port is without removing the sub, which I want to avoid if possible. The box was supposed to be 2.5 cuft. (internal) and tuned to 28 Hz. I'm just not sure that's what it ended up as. Is there any way to tell the tuning freq. without having physical dimensions?
