i need help on what i should do with my subs. i just got 2 brand new alpine type r 12's and i have no idea what kind of amp, box or anything to do with them. any suggestions?
My friend has two 12" type R's running off a hifonics brutus puttung out 1000 watts at 2 ohms b/c the 05 models handle 500w rms. they sound really good and shove pretty well. they are in a sealed box, but a small one. I would go with a big sealed box or a ported box to give these guys some breathing room. It shoves pretty good, great for audio novices.
