Saw in the archives that reedj24 was building a floating stereo for a float trip. I'm currently working on the same thing and wondered if you had completed yours?
I was going to use a cooler but I'm now thinking of going with a plywood/fiberglass enclosure on top of an innertube. I am going to do an 8" Infinity Beta sub in a bandpass enclosure and a pair of 6 1/2" marine coaxials. I was going to use the Audiobahn A6601x I have to power it but the amp's footprint is huge and power draw would be big as well so I'm going to find myself an old 3 or 4 channel amp on ebay.
Anyway..was curious how you got on with your project and if anyone else has done anything like this. BTW, where is your float trip? Mine is down in the Ozarks/Missouri.
