Any opinion would help im leaning towards eclipse or clarion because I guess the new alpines have lost there touch.If theres anything better by all means tell me, I want the best for what I can buy from 500-1500 dollars. Whats the best?
Dealer said last years eclipse was also better. I know less Volt Pre-outs and features but he felt they were built better and less riced or something I guess...
Ended up getting the CD5444 for REALLY cheap.
I was considering getting the new clarion 955MC for it's features, I heard it was a solid deck, but I expect to get a little more SQ out of the unit I picked, + it was ALOT cheaper, even though I was not on a budget the 5444 felt really solid and like it would last a long time.
Nice brushed alumin face and ruberized knobs. Less features but good build quality. I kinda liked the look of the LCD on the clarion but I was not able to find one in person to check out.
