Just purchased a Clarion DRX8275 h.u. It's pretty old, like '97. But was looking for a Reputable h.u. for cheap. Are these any good? And how do I desipher the wires? I know the speakers, yellow=always hot, black=ground, red=acc., blue=pwr ant.??? But it also has two others, brown then a blue/red? Any help would be very much appriceated!
I don't have my drz9255 manual handy, but one of those wires is is probably a power antenna lead(blue is remote I believe which sometimes serves the same function as power antenna), phone interrupt, illumination, or dimmer wire.
The truck with manual is in the shop so I can't say for sure which is which, but I'm pretty sure brown was phone mute. Try hooking the thing up w/o those two wires. May just work fine.
