Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 2177 Registered: Jun-04 | do them in 2.09 cf each ported at 29 hz and drop the subs in youll be at 2.00 cf after the sub and do two slot ports 8 inches high by 2 inches wide each sub 28 wide by 12.75 high by 20.25 deep internal so using .75 mdf board the external measurements would be 29.5 wide by 14.25 high by 21.75 deep this will be a nice sound quality box |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 2179 Registered: Jun-04 | if you really wanted to get fancy you could make the port 8 high by 6.5 wide and then make an adaptor plate that lets it slim back to 8 high by 2 wide to return to the 29 hz port tune......why do this you ask? for a nice peak at about 51 to 52 hz or so for an spl burp if you wanted to compete with them...you wouldnt want to play a test tone less that 48 hz in it that way though and it would only play safely for about 3 seconds or so you could gain as much as 8 db with that spl port but remember 48hz and up for no more than 3 seconds or so |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 2182 Registered: Jun-04 | thats because your in a sealed box ....i no this sub becaue i had one on my mtx 81000d at 750 rms ported to 37 hz with 1.00 cf. of air space before the sub and port ......one of these subs is capeable of 140 db plus on your amp ..we did 140 db and 145.9 db (burp box) in two different vehicles with your sub ported with your power ...we can make you the box i described or you can go to a shop and have it perfessionally made...write down what i gave you and head to the shop.....you wont be disappointed |
