I'd say sealed, MDF, 3/4" thick. You might be able to contact ID about plans or at least specs for the box.

I'd say ported, MDF, 3/4" thick. Matter of opinion and sound taste.

Nope... Josh what you wanna do is (1.8 -- 2.50 cu.ft. vented @ 28Hz)

that will have you covered. I whould recommend throwing 600 - 1000 watts rms to it. Honestly even 600 watts will sound amazing with it. You wont be able to tell much. The SQ will be very nice and you will get alot of low end also. YOu will be very happy.. just wait and see.

by the way you can confirm with Jonathan since he also owns one.

If you can build the box then i whould go to www.woodlawncabinetry.com and have phil build you one.

how do you change the frequency of the box?

by lengthening or shortening the port.
Lengthening will lower the boxes tuning.
Shortening will raise it.
The ratio between the surface area and the depth of the port is what determines the frequency at which the port is tuned.
