Do you need an inline fuse if your HU has one in it? And do you think its a good idea to run a 12 guage wire from the battery (I would wire a fuse into that line though) to the HU instead of using the OEM power wire? Would this slove the HU display from dimming on bass hits and prevent some high volume distortion?
