yeh UK is soo expensive i live here and i get ALL my car audio shipped from the US - i've now got 2 cars worth of complete JL audio Alpine and Pioneer and im chuffed - it works out much, much cheaper
so how expensive is the UK? .. well how about $1200 for ONE JL 12W7?? or $950 for a JL 300/2??

Betty as for your power cables... just pick up a wiring kit off ebay (8 gauge, 4 gauge whatever u need) they might well work out cheaper shipped from the states too
I got my wire yesterday from e-bay shoudl be here today, making the subs 2morrow but i think we are just filling the whole boot not just a box, which would be good, we went to the scrappers 2 day and found some nice 15" which we got for free, a nice amp (which unfortuantly got water in it so didnt work) and were hoping to get a TV shoved in aswell, we are 'sinking' our amp into were the spare weel would be and having it on red plexi which was really dear because of stupid UK and some red neons shinning through that.
well thats our plans but it all depends on the UK prices!!!
Whoa, talk about getting ripped off. Wouldn't you think it should be the other way around? Look at the currency exchange rate. Everything there should be half price. The JL 300/2 is around $250 US, so in UK, it should be $140 or less. Somebody is making lot of money importing there. You guys should revolt against the government/queen! You're not alone though, in Canada we get ripped just as much. The RF amp that costs $350 US, we have to pay $899 PLUS 15% tax on top. It'll end up being over $1033.
