Im getting: -USAmps MD-1 rated at 1050W @ 1 ohm -One Image Dynamics 12" IDMAX v.3D2 -Suggested power 1000watts -Dual 2-ohm voice coils Image Dynamics recommends a ported box of 2.00-2.80 ft^3 I want to maximize SQ, and at the same time I want to have a box that maximizes the sub's SPL that Image Dynamics is so proud of. Below is Image Dynamics enclosure page for my sub. I'm going to need help figuring out lengths and widths to maximize SQ and SPL.(If I had to chose between the two, I would prefer more SPL) http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/spec.php?type=encspec&id=IDMAX12D2%20V.3 They have different volumes and port frequencies. We're going to have to figure out which volume/frequency maximizes the SPL I am looking for. Thank you, Eric |
