Monday, May 09, 2005 - 12:30 GMT if we are talking about voice coils a dual 2 ohm can be wired for either 1 ohm or 4 ohm and a dual 4 ohm can be wired for 2 ohm or 8 ohm. 2 DVC 2 ohm subs can be wired for .5ohm or 2 ohm and 2 DVC 4 ohm subs can be wired for 1 ohm or 4 ohm. does that make sense? + to +, - to - = lower ohm load + to -, - to + = higher ohm load

Monday, May 09, 2005 - 17:45 GMT scott dude, there isnt just 1 way to wire a sub, there are TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you wire in paralell, or in series parallel, ohm is cut inhalf series, ohm is doubled exmaple, dual 4 ohm parallel is 2 ohm series is 8 ohms, ok simple as that
