hey i've read alot about deep cycle batts, and marine batts, but what does deep cycle mean? does it mean you can run your battery all the way down and still be able to start your car? if thats true how long does one deep cycle batt last?

Deep cycle means that you can completely discharge/charge or "deep cycle" a battery w/o seriously damaging it. This type of use is awfully hard on your typical automotive starting battery.
