Radio=amp is on..cd=amp turns off??please help

when i turn on my car and hu everything works fine amp,sub,..when i put in a cd the amp turns off? wtf is going on?...also when i leave my face on the hu and turn the car off then on it has memory when i take the face off all settings and mem r gone and if i have a cd in there it says cd eject? any help would be great...thanks

? i have a blue one and a blue w/white stripe it is on the blue one is this what you mean? and does that have anything to do with the hu memory issues? or just the amp?...thanks

use the REM wire, not the PWR ANT wire on the head unit.

glass, usually when i hook up amps for epople i do use the REM wire, but for some reason in my car the only that works is the PWR ANT wire, why is this?

The amp turn-on lead is the blue one with the white stripe, not the solid blue one.

sub, you have both a rem and pwr ant? or just pwr ant?

I usually run from the remote wire on the deck, to a fuse, to a switch on the dash, to the amp...

Reason I put a fuse, is one time I had a nice SoundStorm deck blow up on me because it meet ground...
