What is generaly speaking, better for a SQ/SPL mix with more emphasis on the SQ, a 12 inch or a 15in sub? sealed or ported? I listen to electronica and alot of metal so it has to hit hard but be accurate and fast. Thanks

i second the 12 comment except i would optimize it for your type of music with a port for that frequency range

12" and for SQL look at a sub like RE's triple X or the Adire Brahma.
great excursion, great SQL, both use the same XBL^2 motor technology

Thanks for the info guys I will look into a 12" then. Hey Glasswolf what do you think of the eclipse titanium 12"? Better or as good as the RE triple x? And Sean how would I find the perfect frequency range? I do know that I would like the sound of a double bass kick drum to stand out accurately.

with my current setup im going 3.5cu ft. tuned to like 22Hz-25hz since the resonant freq is 15.7Hz and that is low. That way itll peak at a accurate and loud freq.
