I think you answered your own question. I do believe cable TV requires a cable from a land line. Least thats what I think.

you can get direct tv but i think its a couple thousand dollars which isnt really worth it.

No i paid $898 for a rockford fosgate indash-motorized monitor (flip up) and it come with a TV tuner, i have DVD, 2 aux channels, and 67 channels. I can watch T.V all day in my car. Its just an antenna. I bought it brand new on EBAY. It is possible.

Sorry Mike, i meant i bought the whole thing off ebay. i dont know where to find JUST the antenna. Sorry man...

You can get the antena from ebay also. Just look it up I got one from there
