Ok so fs is 15.7hz for the Avalanche 15 and so i think im gonna go with 3.5 cu ft. and tune it to 26-27Hz and set the subsonic filter on the jl 500/1 to 20hz. Let me know what you think based on the Resonant FreQ ...

hey MO im also gettin an avalanche i want to tune it to 28hz
if i set it at 32hz compared to 28hz what would be the sound difference? more spl at one tuning more low end at one tuning? more boomy bass at one tunin?
I think if you set it at 32Hz you will get more spl then sq in that range. Me and you are looking for the same answer. I talked to chad today and he said 26Hz-30Hz whould be best. Im personally gonna tune it to like 26hz-27hz not that it makes the biggest differance but your better off. 28hz sounds right.
