I'm stuck deciding on brands/quality. First, here is a link to my amp and cap:

The amp is 380W and peak at 760w. I was recommended at a store that the Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 3 is a great sub but I'm wondering if the Alpine might be cleaner. I want a 10" nothing bigger but I was told that my amp will probably OVERHEAT after only an hour of playing because it's a 2 channel (bridgeable) amp. I drive a Scion Tc, with a 'slanted hatback' and I'm thinking of accurate rather than loud, my stock head unit & speakers are Pioneer.

Here is a link to the Alpine and the Rockford:

the scions come with a very nice pioneer stock system, and what you should do if you want somen very accurate, go back to the scion dealership and ask them to upgrade your sound system (400-500) bucks lol, i made my mom do it in her XB lol, BUT stage 3's do get nice and loud but dont sound THAT good, theya re nice but not top notch in the sq department, not to mention that they are 500 watts rms and underrated and i dont think 380 watts rms is going to cut it for them, the only linkof yours that worked for me was the last one to lol, but if you could get a new amp alot of new stuff would be available to you, BUT i would also HIGHLY reccomend getting a 12 inch atlas ($140), its 300 watts rms, can take mroe, can take less, and is a great sq sub supposedly

Yea the links are outdated apparently. The amp is a Pioneer GM-X962. I'm starting to think that you are right about just going back to the dealer to get an upgrade, but I'm not sure how good their sub is, I think they install a Bazooka 10".
