Would it be better to buy an amp that put out the required RMS at 4 ohms and wire in series or an amp that put out the RMS at 1 ohm and wire in parallel? Would it make a difference in SQ or SPL?
i would do it at 4ohm, cause if you upgrade subs later you cna already have a powerfulamp, or if you getr another sub, you can run it in par/seies to get a 2 ohm load, which will double the 4 ohm load since your doubling the rms of the subs
