I have an RT404 400watt max MTX 4-chan amp and i run my one 600 watt max MTX sub off of one channel. that is only about 50Watts max power, and it makes my 600 watt max sub have LESS bass than when i ran a 400watt sub on it. So I want to bridge it to get at least double the power i am getting, if that is possible. When I bridge it though, my sub just buzzes and has no bass coming out. Here is a pic of my bridg wiring and my amp's settings. Somebody tell me why my sub buzzes when i wire it like this? p.s. i am getting a new amp but i dont have a job right now so i cant afford it yet. So please somebody tell me why this bridging just makes my sub buzz???
oops, i said 50 watts. i mean about 100 watts max power i am getting on my non bridged wiring. I also noticed that when i plug my sub into the right rear channel it also buzzes, but the left channel doesnt buzz. maybe my right rear channel is blown.
oops again. i mean my right rear channel DOES buzz but my LEFT rear channel works. not like it makes much difference. either way, one channel works and one doesnt.
