Bronze Member Username: WilliamcPost Number: 31 Registered: Mar-05 | hopefully i will be recieving my sub shortlyand want to order a new amp. i plan on \(when the money is here) buying another 13ov.2 and running it with this amp. i am getting the dual 4ohm so i figured the Orion 1200d at 1 ohm would be perfect for 2 600w rms subs. with a 2 ohm load it has 725w is this going to be to much for the 13Ov.2? i was also looking at the ED nine.1... any suggestions ? thanks |

Silver Member Username: UdaiPost Number: 110 Registered: Dec-04 | Well that amp should be fine.. try the pg xenon x1200.1 if you want another option (~400 off ebay) I have the 600.1.. ill let you know how it sounds after its hooked up. As far as others opinions on the xenon line.. i hear great things. They dont give you too much head room but i read something from a pg rep stating that they do a bit over the rms. My birthsheet says my 600.1 does 625 @ 4ohms. Try reading the ed forums www.edesignaudio.com theyll be able to help you out with other amp choices. |
