I recently bought a bass tube Metrik 8-inch Powered Tube Subwoofer.

Features include:
8-inch tube speaker with amplifier
200 mm paper coated cone foam edge woofer
320 watts peak power
80 watts RMS
20-200Hz frequency response
80-120Hz(adjustable) outlet
DC12V-14.4V negative ground power source

Do I need to have an amp to hook this up, or can i just plug it in? I was wondering what I need to do to get this tube sounding good.

PLEASE HELP ME! I'M A NOOB!

I would assume you would be able to just hook up the interconnects and run the power/ground/etc... wires if its a "powered" tube subwoofer as you say.

no if its powered then it has a built in amp thats already connected to the speaker you just need to hook up the power and the signal wires to the amp.
