I am looking at buying 2 10 inch infinity 1030W subs with 1000 watt max and 250 RMS at 4ohms and was wondering what I should do for an amp. I want to have some crisp sound that sounds clean. and should I use a ported box or a sealed enclosure?
Thanks

look for somen that is either 500ats rms at 2 ohms mono, or 250 watts rms at 4 ohms 2 channel

If I were going to go to a single 10, with about the 1000 watt max and 250 RMS at 4 ohms, what type of amp would this require?

You would want to get a monoblock amp. I would suggest an Alpine MRD M301. That is unless you are going to buy speakers that need to be powered by an amp too.
