I'd appreciate some info regarding on-axis and off-axis setups for component systems. What exactly does that refer to regarding the components and how does it affect the sound? Thanks
Typically on axis results in the best frequency response, but it won't always mean best imaging. The main thing to do is to aim the components where they image well, any dip in the response can be corrected by EQ to a certain degree.
