I have consept 300 fitted in golf mk2 but recently after a car wash i get a 3 tone warning when i lock the car or at times when the car is parked for a long time the alarm goes off.Recently when it rain heavily the alarm goes off and after a drive when i look the car i get the warning tones. This is really bugging me as the car is fitted with air horns... Can anyone help
The 3 tone is saying the hood or trunk pin is active. Basically it got wet and is shorting out. The first thing I would do is make sure both are properly adjusted. If one is to low, raise it a little and see if that helps. If that doesn't, move them so they don't get as wet when you wash your car or it rains.
