I'm looking to install a head unit into a 98 Sea Ray. This is the first time I've ever attempted installing audio equipment by myself and was wondering where I could go to get more info? Are there any wiring harnesses out there designed for boats? Also one last thing I am looking to put two 5 1/4 speakers in the bow so that they could be moved and I am looking for basically a 5.25 speaker box for cars. Is there anywhere those could be purchased or just make on my own?

Thanks in advance

If you buy a head-unit from crutchfield.com, they'll not only send you the head unit but they'll send you detailed instructions on how to install your marine receiver and will also include the necessary installation accessories such as installation mounts, wiring harnesses, and speaker brackets free of charge. As far as Head Units, go with a clarion. They make the best marine audio Head Units.
