Hi all, I'm wanting to get some 6x9 rear speakers to go on my parcel shelf but need some advice please. I have a 50w JVC head unit so what power speakers should I get? Will I be losing some bass if I get high powered mothers as my head unit won't be able to satisfy them? Should I be looking at some with a nominal rating somewhere near 50w? Advice please!
The only thing I could really recommend by experience is what I have bought lately, that being Infinity Kappa 3 way 6x9. BUT they are 110 watts RMS recommended. I know this does not apply to you but just throwing in my suggesion, they are great speakers and not too bad a price on Ebay. I just installed them with a 100 watt RMS amp and they sound great.
