.2.Slow4U. was the one guy there making sense. You'd probably be able to utilize that 120 amp "non-a/c" alternator with a few minor modifications.

Your best bet is probably to get in touch with someone that does custom alternators. They might be able to rewind yours(or another just like it) for higher output. It seems to me a different size belt could be employed as well with a slightly smaller alternator pulley for 120 amp jobber if low rpm performance is of concern. Should be no problem as long as it utilizes the same housing/mounts as yours. I ordered a 170 amp alternator to replace my the 105 amper on my Explorer and it looks identical externally except for a smaller pulley. I get very good output at anything above 2000 rpm as well as at idle(if I don't push my system too hard).

yeah, hes a nice guy, and thanks for the help. I think im gunna send it out since they are obviously too stupid it figure anything out. They don't know anything, they all pretend.
