Silver Member Username: FishyTamarac, FL USA Post Number: 654 Registered: Sep-04 | Which would be better for SQ? 1x12W6v2 @ 500 watts (Xtant 1001dx sealed 1.5 ft^3) or 2x10W6v2 @ 1000 watts (Xtant 1001dx sealed .8 ft^3 ea) in '96 Ford Explorer Sport. -Fishy [note] I only have 5 1/4 Q's up front and was thinking IDmax for better midbass transition but haven't found a dealer down here yet. Shipping busted product suxxorz. Oh, and I'm running a pair of 10w3d2's ported 1.625 ft^3 ea @ 28 Hz off that amp at the moment(250W ea) and they totally overpower my mids so I can afford to lose a little in the SPL department. Sure would like to have somethin that sounds better however and Sound Advice(Tweeters) has all their speaks at 25% off til Mar 31st. http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1219384&cp=1124288.1124550.11 24488&page=2&doVSearch=no&pageBucket=0&sublevel=2&parentPage=family http://www.tweeter.com/product/index.jsp?productId=1843714&cp=1124288.1124550.11 24487&page=2&doVSearch=no&pageBucket=0&sublevel=2&parentPage=family I know, expensive, but ain't too bad 25% off those prices. |
