if i had a hifonics amp pushing 1600 rms at 1 ohm with the fuse rating on this amp at 80x2 which is 160 amperes draw current. would that be ok on a stock alternator on a chrysler sebring 1999 lxi???
Theres one way to find out. lol, you can take your car to a shop and try to find out your car's alternator strength. You could buy a better Alternator. You could buy a capacitor. Or you could replace your battery w/ a better one, I wouldnt do that though. Just a few suggestions
Forget the part about buying a capacitor, that will only make the problem worse. I don't know what size alt is stock on that car, but I would look in to getting a HO alternator.
