Alright i just got my 18" avalanche hooked up and its not that loud its about the same as my s 15" L5's and when i went to adjust my amp(pcx1500) i either turned the subsonic filter or whatever its called the wrong way or somthin because now it just spins for ever and doesn't change anything. Is that my problem or do you have any other ideas? Someone please help!! sorry for the long post. thanks
how do you have that hooked up series? that amp is not pushing enough power for that sub anyway at 4ohms. that sub needs atleast 800 watts and from what I have read about it people are slamming it with 1200-1500 all day long. get a bigger amp if you do find out that yours is shot. I believe I told you this before about your amp being to small for that sub.
I'm guessing you're referring to the trim pot for your subsonic filter. (The turny thing.) Sounds like you broke it, need to get a new one put in by someone that works on electronics.
