hey all, I was reading up on some of the posts in this forum, and it seems like a good place to ask for some help!

anyway, I am looking at buying a mtx thunder 8000 10" sub, in a .7 cu\ft sealed enclosure.

the guy i want to buy it from had an infinity sub in the box, and I think it was probably the proper size for THAT sub, but the sub blew and the store he bought it from gave him the mtx under warranty.

so, my question is, do i buy this sub + box and leave it the way it is, or is this box no good!

also, what size box should i put it in, and sealed, or ported, or ?

Im also looking for an amp right now, and I came across this one for cheap
