Allright, been trying to find two decent subs and have money left over to build a box for them. I think i've narrowed it down to the last two. I've got about 250 to spend total on the two subs and materials for my box. Right now, i'm between these two subs
Cerwin Vega V-Max
or the MA Audio MA120XE

each one is similarily priced, but i'm looking for which one will be louder
i still haven't decided as to wether to port the box or not
What are you're guys's thoughts on these?
Lastly...question on hooking these up
these are running off a 4 channel amp at like 100rms a channel. I'll be bridging them. How does this affect the impedance of the subs? On cardomain, the definetion says it halfs the impedance...so if i wired my subs for 8ohms...then ran them off a bridged channel, would the amplifier see a 4ohm load?
thanks for clearin this up for me!

Allright, then i'm looking at getting the V-max's if that is the overall choice
the MA's seem to beat them in the stats though, any major reason why the V-max's are better?
secondly...so how's the sound
a 4 channel amp bridged into two channels at about 200 rms each
two v-max's in a ported box at...how big should i go? each wired at 8 ohms(4ohm dov's), then the amp will see a 4 ohm impedance on the bridged channels and run each of 200 rms
anything sound wrong about this?
