I would use 150 fuse at the battery 3 gauge or bigger from the battery to the distribution block then 4 gauge to both JL 500/1 and 8 gauge to the other amp. This is if all three amps are in the same place. There are other way to do it also.

knukonceptz or partsexpress.com
for a fuse that big, look at ANL type fuses

use 2ga line from alternator to battery, battery to ground, and battery to amps.
split to 4ga for each amplifier and amp ground.
use a fused distribution block, and put a 50A fuse for each amp.
at the battery, you'll want a single in-line ANL style 150A fuse or thermal circuit breaker as a main dead short protection also.

you'll want to consider going up to a 150-200A alternator for this system if you plan to drive it pretty hard. may also consider a 1Fd cap for each sub amplifier in addition to the alternator, and perhaps a new battery like an Optima red top if you run the system with the engine off for more than 15 minutes or so between drives.

I think im gonna subsitute the 1fd cap to each amplifier to a BatCap model 800 stereo battery.

You are talking about the battery under the hood by the engine should be replaced with a red top. correct?? Cause the batcap goes in the back to replace the caps next to the subamps right.

definately use 0/1 guage from the batt and a battery upgrade(yellow or red top) at the very least. a new alt(150-200) wont do you wrong either. but please dont forget the "BIG 3"!

bigger is better. cant hurt you.
i say use the same guage as you run to the distribution block from the battery and for 3 amps you better be using 0/1.
