Anyone know where you can get a piece of at least 1/2" plexiglas. definately not lowes,home depot or any other building supply place around here.Nearly all the ones on the web seem to be corporate, industrial sites from any searches i do.I would think it would be abundant given its popularity in the car audio world.any assistance would be appreciated. i'm only looking for maybe about 34" x 15" piece. also, is it possible {or a good idea} to mount a sub to a plexi baffle
it has been done .. what is the power of the sub?? because u will most likely want to use 3/4 or 1 inch plexi .. if its even more powerfull even thicker {i dont know how thick it goes} i can say its expensive as hell tho when u get into material that thick.. as for where to get it .. theres a fibreglass place near me but they only sell thinner stuff.. im sure you would have to find some sort of specialty shop for it.. u could try asking some guys at audio shops that do custom installs..
cardomain has plexiglass under custom install i belive... they had up to 1 inch think las time i checked... i dont know how big of a piece though.
