I had my subs wired so that only one voice coil was hooked up and then hooked up both to compare, when only one voice coil was hooked up it was alot more powerfull then if both voice coils were hooked up, anyone know why this might be?

you prolly ran the voice coils in series or whatever and doubled the ohms instead of halving it

no offense, but audiobahn doesn;t make very good subs,so you can't expect good sound. Also lanzar amps are really weak.Try a profile,or a rf punch amp.just suggestions

if u wired all in parallel then i assume it would be too low of an inpendence for the amps to properly drive(1ohm)

Or maybe the problem is because his amps arnt 1 ohm stable. 2 dual 4ohm vc subs will result in a 1 ohm load which the amp(s) are prob not compatable with.
