4 channels 2 subs please help

ok i have 2 12 and a 600 watt amp i want 300 watts going to each sub which terminals would i put each wire in. im currently running a seperate wire from each sub should i only be using one wire and hooking them up together with a wire going from the negitive to the positive in the middle???

on the subs. Does EACH subwoofer have 1 or 2 voice coils.

Well, I've never seen a 4 channel that you can bridge twice to get 2 channels, and there's no way to get just 1 channel. Your best bet is to wire each voice coil from each sub to a channel.

if u bridge into 2 channels u will be putting a 2 ohm load on the amp which is to low. only way to go is using all 4 channels like joe said.

Not all amps are bridgeable, you have to make sure it is before you try it.

well i just wondered cause im selling my 2 12s for a 12 that will handle more power and i was wondering if it was possible to get the 6oo watts out of it

if that amp is not bridgable no its not. If it is then yes bridge chan 1+2 to one VC and chan 3+4 to another coil.

...couldnt tell you how much power that pyramid amp actually puts out, i'm 99% sure that 600 watts is the max power right before the thing bursts into flames...
