Where would the best place be to mount the tweeters from infinity kappa perfects in a 01 s10 extd. cab? I think im going to surface mount them so i dont have to cut a hole in anything.
Mount them fairly close and above your mids in the doors...I prefer to flush mount tweets because I know from personal experience that having them surface mounted is just inviting a friend to accidentally catch something on them and dislodge them from the door panel...tweets aren't very deep so usually just a small hole in the door panel is all that is needed and no metal cutting in the door itself is required.
