I have a 2 door Chevy Blazer and the OEM 6x9 speakers are on the mid panel in the back seat area. Replacing them with some Infinity Kappa 6x9 and the magnets are pretty deep, in fact they are only about a quarter inch from the sheet metal, as I can actually feel the magnets getting pulled back as I was mounting the speakers. Does anybody know if this is going to hurt anything as far as the speakers or the sound quality goes? I could probably put some insulation or something in there in between or does it matter?
